Sari is the traditional Indian wedding dress. Although it is the norm as a wedding dress in India, it has also started gaining popularity in Pakistan as a bridal outfit. One thing I like about sari as a bridal dress is that it can be worn more often later on as compared to a lehnga or a gharara. If you choose the right colors, fabric and work done, and couple it with some nice bridal jewelry, sari can create a very elegant effect for a bride. Sari is also an excellent option for the Valima or Reception day as an alternative to a lehnga.
