Although long shirts are the trend in Pakistan these days, the classic Indian Punjabi Salwar kameez will never go out of style, simply because these are classic dresses that women wear on a daily basis all over the world. The shirts of traditonal Indian salwar kameez are shorter, often above the knee or up to the knee. The shalwars are much more flared with wider cuffs. You will also notice that Indian Shalwar Kameez are much brighter than Pakistani Shalwar Kameez. The rich and vibrant colors add a unique ethnic charm to the whole outfit that we see prevalent in Bollywood movies as well. I am showing some more pictures of these dresses here.
